A local host, not a call centre.

I am Josse, founder of The Hostkeeper. I believe you rent out a holiday home to live stress-free, not to gain a second job. Without the responsibilities of managing the property, the guests and everything around it. The idea was born on a trip through Colombia, where I stayed in more than ten different Airbnbs. Something struck me there: owning a home does not make you a good host. Communication was clumsy, the key handover was a hassle every time, and many homes turned out far nicer in real life than in their photos. They deserved a much better representation online. That can be done better, I thought: full peace of mind for owners, and a better stay for guests. A listing that shows your home as it really is, and a host who always replies. You always reach me or my dedicated colleague, never a call centre.
